Adding a table

I'm trying to update the page for the AI War protector starship, and I notice that the tables used are embedded, not hard-coded, and wish to continue following convention. Can you explain or direct me to a guide on how to add a table that I can then reference in the page?

Thanks

If you want you can just hard-code it in since it is really simple to move to a separate page page. For the explanation on how to do it according to existing convention, here you go:
