Extremely high-powered energy-projectile weapon that incinerates everything in a huge area.
Notes
Essentially a "limit break" weapon, the Plasma Cannon is the single most powerful weapon in the game (in terms of direct damage as well as overall destructiveness), which is just as well considering that even with ammo upgrades installed you're likely to get two shots at most. The situations for which the Plasma Cannon was designed should be obvious.
When installing gear, remember to make sure the Plasma Cannon's range remains higher than its area of effect.
