AI War:Resistance Fighter/Bomber
| Pockets of human allies who still live in deep space around AI planets will occasionally send these versatile fighter/bomber hybrids to aid you in the fight against the AI at their local planet.|
They won't attack any AI ships that human players must normally manually target.

How to use in your fleet
Stat-wise, Resistance Fighter/Bombers contain most things players wish for: speed, damage, range and radar dampening. The polycrystal hull places them ideally beside Bombers, and are well-placed to escort the latter to AI fortresses while clearing out surrounding defenders. They are not true Standard Fighters, although with the impressive firepower they will outmuscle most fleet-ships. They are often paired with the Resistance Frigate.
Note that both Resistance units are blind, meaning that they will require some form of escort or scout when being sent to missions.
