Destroying a co-processor normally increases the AI Progress by 20. However, when you destroy the last co-processor, the AI Progress takes a massive drop of 120, so hitting all four of them simultaneously is ideal. Co-Processors also interfere with supply on their planet. |

How to counter when in the AI fleet
The 120 gain also decreases on higher AI difficulties, down to -105 on 8+ and -90 on 9+. This means a net -30 AIP on difficulty 9. As of patch 6.009 the decrease should be 120 at all difficulties (Confirmation required)
