How to counter when in the AI fleet
This ship is unlike other guard posts in the fact that it is mobile, and will attack your ships along with whatever army it decides to take along with it. Sentinel guard posts shows up mostly at the AI homeworlds (which by then you would have hopefully upgraded to a Mk III Bomber). Sentinels, thankfully, can't travel through wormholes, and the Sentinels shoot a devastating beam that can damage up to 20 ships in a straight line. If you want to play it safe or minimize losses, you can use a full cap of Mk 1 bombers instead of the suggestions below
