A Foldout is a copy of a Fabricator or Factory that is created in a Multiplayer game for all the players who did not capture the Fabricator or Factory.
This allows all players in the game to take advantage of capturing the structure and add those ships to their fleet.
If the original structure would produce resources, the Foldout does also.
The Foldout is both cloaked and invincible so the AI can not attack it, however if the originally captured structure is destroyed, all Foldouts created when that structure was captured are destroyed also.
Example: In a 3 player game, Player 1 captures an Advanced Factory. Players 2 & 3 would each get a Foldout created when the Advanced Factory is captured. If Player 1's Advanced Factory is ever destroyed, Player 2 & 3's Foldouts of that Advanced Factory are destroyed also.
