Mine
Enemy ships coming too close to these invisible traps will incur heavy damage. The minefield is also damaged, and eventually destroyed, in the process. The self inflicted damage is the same as the damage dealt so the Mines can attack 16 times before being destroyed. Can be decloaked by Tachyon Beams and then destroyed by your ships the same as other cloaked units. These leave behind remains when they die so Remains Rebuilders in the system will automatically rebuild them without your intervention. |

The explosions from these minefields also effect other enemy ships that are close by, up to 10 ships can be hit by an explosion. How to use in your fleet

How to counter when in the AI fleet
Making sure your fleet has tachyon coverage is the best way to counter these. A Scout Starship or a Tachyon Drone are always available to you.
If you are not able to conquer the system right away, to prevent the AI from rebuilding the Mines, a Cleanup Drone will remove the Mine Remains in short order so they will not be rebuilt.
