Specialized science vessel designed for the detection and recovery of space-borne artifacts. Please note that this ship does not produce any knowledge like other science vessels. If you have not received any reports of abnormal phenomena to investigate, you do not need to build any survey ships. Part of the Fallen Spire Campaign. |

Move it onto the planet with the subspace signal, then wait until the shard is found. Survey progress is saved, so if you need to suspend the survey at any time you can simply move the Survey Ship off-planet (or scrap it).
