Research and unlock new technologies. Also gathers up to 3000 Knowledge per planet. Takes a long time to build, and costs MUCH more than a regular lab, but can gather from hostile planets when in-supply. This enrages the AI at their planet while the lab is present there as they view this as sabotage, so be prepared for an ongoing AI response against your units on that planet and nearby. |
