This indestructible Golem makes its way slowly around the galaxy, absorbing all of the non-mark-V mobile military ships on planets it visits in order to power and repair itself. It's attack power is so high that it will insta-kill most ships, but it will only attack non-mark-V ships that are both mobile and which have attack power (or are scouts). The only way for those ships to survive is for them to flee to another planet until the devourer has moved on. Unlike other golems, the Devourer Golem has not broken down and still roams the galaxy looking for targets. As such it is not available to human or AI forces in any form as any approaching ships get destroyed. The Devourer Golem qualifies as a minor faction on its own and is enabled/disabled via the Zenith Devourer option under Game Options during game setup. |
