Produces: -200 Metal, 50,000 Energy
Exploits the special properties of the metal normally used in construction to produce a large amount of energy. These really are very expensive to run, so make sure you've built all the Energy Collectors you can before building one of these. Also, you can have at most 10 of these on each planet. Note: the matter-conversion reaction cannot be shut down in a stable manner: if you need to stop paying the metal you will need to scrap the converter. Also, once construction has begun on a converter it cannot be paused (it can be scrapped to cancel it). |
