Mines metal or crystal found amidst rock deposits. Build Crystal Harvesters on crystal deposits and Metal Harvester on metal deposits (white dots on minimap). These can only be built if there is a human Command Station in the system and will auto-build if there are no enemy ships present. If you wish to construct all Harvesters in the system manually you can Ctrl-Click on the Harvester icon in the system build menu to build all Harvesters of that type. Produces 20 Metal or Crystal at Mark I, 30 Metal or Crystal at Mark II, and 55 Metal or Crystal at Mark III. Higher Mark Crystal and Metal Harvesters are unlocked separately with Mark II Harvesters costing 2,000 Knowledge and Mark III costing 2,500 Knowledge. |
