Extremely large, powerful, and expensive defensive structure. Also repairs all nearby ships. Note that there are significant differences between the Human Fortresses and the AI Fortresses. Human Fortress: After moving, it must recharge for 60 seconds before it can start doing repairs again. Has twice the range but only one-third the health. AI Fortress: Can not move, has half the range but three times the health and can not be repaired, only slowly regenerate. Also see Mini-Fortress, Modular Fortress, and SuperFortress. |
