This incredibly tough golem can blast through even the strongest armor with wave after wave of intense plasma-flame. Golems are ancient ships lying broken around the galaxy. Capture the system they reside in to allow your forces to repair them and add these powerful ships to your fleet. The golems constructed by the Golemite AI Type have 1/2 the health of the original, broken golems that humans can repair. Note: Unlike other golems, the Armored Golem used in Exo-waves has half the health (250,000,000) of the human version. |

How to use in your fleet
The toughest golem by far, and the cheapest per hit point. Often worth the 15AIP.
One of these will zap a non-fortressed system with ease. Hybrids and threatballs melt when confronted with one.
Their high target priority makes them very effective damage soaks.
Best against large groups of fleet ships.
How to counter when in the AI fleet
The best counters are artillery golems, spirecraft rams/penetrators/implosion artillery, or armor piercing/rotting ships.
Otherwise, kill these last, as their firepower:hp ratio is quite low.
