Hostile human vagabonds who live in deep space will occasionally send these extremely long-range frigates at human and AI settlements to destroy what they can so that they can escape with the resulting scrap. They won't attack any AI ships that human players must normally manually target. |
This unit is part of the Human Marauders Minor Faction and cannot be obtained.

How to counter when in the AI fleet
These are artillery hulls and basically buffed up missile frigates. Counter them in a similar way. These are somewhat difficult to kill with most fast response units, so loading bombers in a transport may be your best bet here.
