Special Forces Guard Post
 Enemy ships assigned to Special Forces patrol between these posts. When an AI gets reinforcements to a planet, each guard post also gets reinforcements.

Normally, the AI has one Special Forces Guard Post per planet, sometimes none.

Note that the AI can purchase additional Special Forces Guard Posts during the game from the Zenith Trade Ship if its Minor Faction is enabled.

As Special Forces Guard Posts have a small range and no Radar Dampening, they can be destroyed from afar with long-range units, such as Missile Frigates.
